Synopsis

WKRP in Cincinnati (1978), Season 4 is the CBS workplace sitcom you can watch online on iFILM — 22 episodes inside a Cincinnati rock radio station staffed by lovable misfits.

The final run opens with a bomb scare: the device is planted at the transmitter while Johnny Fever and Venus Flytrap broadcast straight from the tower. After that the crew flirts with forming a union, smarmy ad man Herb checks into hospital for heart tests, Johnny sinks a court settlement into a shaky condo deal, and earnest newsman Les Nessman keeps wandering into trouble he never saw coming. By the closing episode Mama Carlson is threatening to flip the whole format to round-the-clock news, leaving the station's future hanging.

This is the last of four seasons of a sharp late-seventies comedy, a touch wistful as the run winds down but still gleefully absurd. Stream WKRP in Cincinnati Season 4 online on iFILM.
