About
Synopsis
Little Miss Marker (1980) is an American comedy you can watch online on iFILM. New York bookie Sorrowful Jones gets handed a little girl as collateral — her father gambled away more than he had and left his daughter as a marker to cover the debt. A backroom gambling operation in the 1930s is not built for a small child.
Drawn from a Damon Runyon short story — the same writer behind Guys and Dolls — the film pairs Walter Matthau's gruff, penny-pinching Sorrowful against Julie Andrews as a woman working the same crooked circuit. Tony Curtis and Bob Newhart round out the cast, and Walter Bernstein directed. The kid turns out to be the most clear-headed person in the room. Stream Little Miss Marker online on iFILM.
