Synopsis
Savages (2012) is a crime thriller directed by Oliver Stone — watch online on iFILM. Ben and Chon run a boutique marijuana operation out of Laguna Beach: one is a peace-corps botanist, the other a sharp-edged Iraq vet. Their product is the best on the market, and that reputation reaches the wrong ears.
Elena, the ruthless head of a Mexican cartel played by Salma Hayek, wants their business. When Ben and Chon refuse her buyout, she takes O. — the woman they both share, played by Blake Lively — as leverage. Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays Ben, Taylor Kitsch plays Chon, and Benicio del Toro is Elena's enforcer Lado, who treats negotiations as a warm-up for violence. John Travolta rounds out the cast as a corrupt DEA agent with flexible loyalties.
Based on Don Winslow's novel, the film leans into the moral cost of living outside the law — two men who built a paradise discover they cannot protect it without becoming something uglier. Stream Savages (2012) in good quality on iFILM.
