Synopsis

Michael Douglas plays Gekko as a charming predator who treats greed like a creed. He takes Bud (Charlie Sheen) on as a protégé and teaches him how money really moves: inside tips, hostile takeovers, profit pulled from someone else's ruin. The cash arrives fast. So do the deals Bud can't take back. His father, a union mechanic played by real-life dad Martin Sheen, stands for everything the kid is trying to outrun.
