Synopsis

The season opens fractured. One team member is missing after the raiders' attack and a nearby village has been enslaved. Roxton and Marguerite stop pretending they feel nothing for each other. Veronica follows fragmentary clues about her long-absent parents. The plateau's scenarios get wilder: a tribe of Amazonian warriors saves the group from a pterodactyl swarm; a 21st-century tourist flight crashes onto the plateau and brings dreams of rescue; kobolds run uranium reactors in the mines below; a voodoo practitioner puppets Roxton like a marionette.
The tonal shift from Season 1 is real — animal threats have given way to human ones, and every outsider who lands here has a private agenda.
