Synopsis
Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown (2011) is an American MMA action movie you can watch online on iFILM. Four young men with very different reasons to throw a punch end up in the same gym, training for an underground mixed martial arts tournament.
A boxer, a wrestler, a hothead and a quiet kid each carry their own style and their own thing to prove. Their coach is Case Walker, a former cage star who pushes them past exhaustion and tries to teach them how to take a hit outside the ring too. Loyalty, a betrayal from inside their own group, and a final bout where only one walks away keep the focus squarely on fists, elbows and grit.
Michael Jai White stars as the mentor and also took the director's chair, which is why the fights land hard and the talk stays short. This one is for viewers who hit play for the choreography and the sweaty gym energy rather than the plot. A young Evan Peters turns up in an early role.
