Synopsis

Season 5 of Captain Planet and the Planeteers (1990) is 13 episodes you can watch online on iFILM. Kwame, Linka, Wheeler, Gi and Ma-Ti pick up the elemental rings again to shield the planet from the next round of trouble.

The threats grow stranger this time. Scientists breed lifeforms that feed on lethal UV pouring through the ozone. Gaia gets reduced to a homeless wanderer, and unless she reaches Hope Island by sunrise the Earth loses its spirit. Zarm wagers that people aren't good by nature. One of Dr. Blight's lab plants turns on an entire village. Late in the run the villains seize a TV station to broadcast their anti-green message to everyone watching.
