Jeremiah (Seasons 1–2)
A generation lost. The future unknown.
Synopsis
Jeremiah (2002) is a post-apocalyptic series from Showtime you can watch online on iFILM. The premise is bleak and specific: a plague called the Big Death has killed every adult on Earth, and what's left fifteen years later isn't a society — it's turf wars, ghost towns and a generation that never learned to build anything.
Luke Perry plays Jeremiah, a wanderer searching for a place called Valhalla that his dying father whispered about. He picks up a partner in Kurdy (Malcolm-Jamal Warner), and the two make an unlikely team as they navigate warlords, cults and the remnants of old-world infrastructure. Eventually they find Thunder Mountain — a hidden community actually trying to put civilization back together.
Created by J. Michael Straczynski, the mind behind Babylon 5, and adapted from the Belgian graphic novel by Hermann, the series ran two seasons and 35 episodes. It treats its audience as adults: the apocalypse here is grimy, not glamorous. Stream Jeremiah online on iFILM.
