Synopsis
Sorority Boys (2002) is an American comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Wallace Wolodarsky. Dave, Adam and Doofer (Barry Watson, Michael Rosenbaum, Harland Williams) are booted out of their fraternity on a false theft charge. Their plan to clear their names requires wigs, dresses, and entirely new identities.
As Daisy, Adina and Roberta, the three crash the sorority next door and try to gather evidence while surviving sisterhood rituals they are spectacularly unequipped for. The situation compounds itself at speed. Dave's cover gets an extra complication when he falls for campus queen Leah (Melissa Sagemiller), which turns a bad plan into an actively collapsing one.
The film works the same cross-dressing comedy formula that drove the hits of the 1980s and 90s — and it's honest about not reinventing anything. Heather Matarazzo as the sorority's perpetual underdog walks off with several scenes that were never meant to be hers. Funny in patches and easy to sit through at 93 minutes.
