Synopsis
A private eye named Malone is hard to love and even harder to kill — plenty of people have tried both. Give 'em Hell, Malone (2009) is Russell Mulcahy's pulp crime-action picture, and you can watch online on iFILM in good quality.
The job sounds simple: grab a mysterious case and hand it to a ruthless gangster called Whitmore. In practice every hitman, lunatic and crooked cop in the city wants what's inside, and each would happily leave Malone bleeding out in an alley to get it. He takes the bullets, loses nearly everything he has, and keeps walking straight into the next gunfight anyway.
Thomas Jane plays him like a man who stepped out of a dime-store paperback — trench coat, cigarette, fists ready. Ving Rhames backs him up and Elsa Pataky plays the femme fatale you can't read. Mulcahy stages the whole thing as a 1940s noir repainted in acid neon, heavy on shootouts, blood and deadpan one-liners. Loud, mean and clearly enjoying its own savagery — catnip for pulp fans. Stream Give 'em Hell, Malone (2009) online on iFILM.
