Synopsis
A Perfect Pairing (2022) is a breezy romance you can watch online on iFILM. Lola, a driven wine-company executive from Los Angeles, walks out on her office job and flies to Australia to chase one big winemaking client herself.
The plan is simple; the plan goes sideways. To get close to her would-be partner, Lola signs on as a hand at a remote sheep station and discovers exactly what she's been spared her whole life — mud, early mornings, and animals that do not care about her sales pitch. Then there's Max, the gruff local who irritates her right up until he doesn't. Victoria Justice and Adam Demos play the easy, sunlit chemistry the whole movie is built around.
Directed by Australian filmmaker Stuart McDonald, the film lets the vineyard hills do as much work as the cast. Nothing about the story will surprise you, and that's the point: a warm city-meets-country rom-com about wine and a second shot at things. A solid pick for a low-effort night in.
