Synopsis
K-9: P.I. (2002) is the third entry in the K-9 franchise — watch online on iFILM as James Belushi's Detective Dooley and his German Shepherd partner Jerry Lee come out of semi-retirement for one last case. Director Richard J. Lewis brings the familiar buddy-cop energy into private investigation territory.
Dooley is days away from collecting his pension when the FBI puts him under surveillance and a case involving stolen high-tech computer chips lands in his lap. No badge, no department backup — just a wisecracking ex-cop and a dog who does not follow instructions. The film leans into physical comedy and the odd-couple chemistry between Belushi and the canine actor King, who plays Jerry Lee with the kind of scene-stealing composure that upstages most human co-stars.
Pitched squarely at fans of the earlier films, K-9: P.I. plays it safe with the formula and delivers exactly what it promises: chases, punchlines and a dog getting the best of everyone around him. Stream K-9: P.I. (2002) online on iFILM.
