Synopsis
Breaking and Entering (2006) is a British-American drama directed by Anthony Minghella — watch it online on iFILM. Will (Jude Law) is a landscape architect working on an urban regeneration project in a run-down part of London. His office gets burgled twice.
He traces the thief to a Bosnian teenager named Miro (Rafi Gavron) and finds himself inside the flat of Miro's mother Amira (Juliette Binoche) — a war widow who rebuilt a life in the wrong borough. Will has enough to hand Miro to the police. He doesn't. He comes back.
Vera Farmiga plays Will's partner at home, and Robin Wright appears as an ex. Minghella — who directed The English Patient — wrote the script himself, and his interest is less in the affair than in the question underneath it: how precisely two people can share a city, or a home, and still remain invisible to each other.
