Synopsis
Kill List (2011) is Ben Wheatley's pitch-black British horror-thriller, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Ex-soldier Jay, wrecked by a job that went wrong months earlier, picks the contract-killing trade back up. Three names, one fat payout.
At home, Jay (Neil Maskell) is broke, short-tempered and at war with his wife. His old partner Gal (Michael Smiley) pulls him into a fresh assignment, and they sign the contract in blood — literally. The early hits go smoothly enough. Then the list gets stranger, the targets start thanking their executioners, and the two men lose any grip on who hired them or why. What opens as a grim kitchen-sink drama hardens into a crime thriller before veering somewhere far worse.
Wheatley made one of the most argued-over British genre films in years, swerving between registers and landing an ending people still freeze-frame and dissect. This one rewards viewers who like the floor dropping out from under a story. Stream Kill List (2011) online on iFILM.
