Synopsis
Our Flag Means Death (2022), Season 1 is a pirate comedy you can watch online on iFILM — ten episodes set in 1717, when wealthy aristocrat Stede Bonnet walks out on his estate and family to captain his own ship, the Revenge.
His crew barely respects him, his raids go badly, and good manners turn out to be useless in a boarding fight. Then he crosses paths with a legend: Blackbeard, played by Taika Waititi. The two captains were never supposed to click, yet they start teaching each other — one nerve, the other tenderness. Along the way there is a high-society party under stolen identities, a staged spectacle in place of a brawl, a trial, and a deeply silly, deeply real love story unfolding on the open sea.
