Synopsis
Watch Manhunt (2017) Season 2 online on iFILM — ten episodes, also known as Manhunt: Deadly Games, that leave the Unabomber behind for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Park bombing. Same anthology, new case, same patient look at an investigation.
Security guard Richard Jewell spots an abandoned backpack, clears the crowd, and saves hundreds of lives — then within days the FBI and the press turn the hero into their prime suspect. As headlines tear his life apart, ATF agents follow the real trail: serial bomber Eric Rudolph slips into the North Carolina woods, where anti-government locals shelter him as one of their own. The season braids two threads, the persecution of an innocent man and the chase for a guilty one, and both press on the same nerve — what happens when the system rushes to name an enemy.
Paul Bettany sits this one out; the focus moved, but the tone held — less action than a study of how the machinery of an investigation grinds down a person. The Jewell storyline, drawn from real events, hits hardest. Stream Manhunt Season 2 online on iFILM.
