Jessabelle (2014) — watch online on iFILM. Sarah Snook plays a young woman left wheelchair-bound after a car crash that kills her fiancé; with nowhere else to go, she moves into her estranged father's crumbling Louisiana house. Director Kevin Greutert, known for editing the Saw franchise, brought a quieter, murkier kind of dread to this southern gothic horror.

Clearing out a back room, Jessabelle finds a box of VHS tapes her mother recorded before she was born. The messages on those tapes are not comforting. The further she digs into her mother's past, the clearer it becomes that something in that house has been waiting for her specifically — and has no interest in letting go.
