Synopsis
Jackals (2017) is an American horror thriller set in the 1980s that you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Kevin Greutert (Saw V, Saw VI) and starring Stephen Dorff and Deborah Kara Unger.
The Powell family brings in a cult deprogrammer to get their teenage son back from a violent fringe group. The extraction works. But by nightfall, masked cultists have surrounded the remote cabin and they want Justin returned. The family — already fractured and barely speaking — has to hold the house until morning, with the added problem that Justin himself isn't sure which side he belongs to.
Greutert plays this as a straight-ahead siege horror: one location, mounting pressure from outside, tension inside. It doesn't reinvent the formula, but it runs a tight 86 minutes and doesn't waste time on detours. Solid late-night genre viewing for fans of '80s-set survival horror. Stream Jackals online on iFILM.
