Synopsis
The Snitch Cartel: Origins (El cartel de los sapos: El origen, 2022) is a Colombian crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. It follows two brothers from Cali across roughly forty years, from barefoot kids to men who decide who lives and who disappears in the cocaine trade.
The series moves step by step through the rise. Small hustles turn into shipments, shipments into bodies, bodies into an empire nobody can walk away from clean. Director Camilo Villamizar keeps the camera on the women, affairs and betrayals as much as the turf wars, and the large Colombian cast — Juan Pablo Urrego, Sebastián Osorio and others — plays a family that long ago stopped telling love apart from leverage.
This is a prequel to the El cartel de los sapos franchise, and it plays harder than the original: less swagger, more of the bill that comes due.
