Synopsis

Robots from deep space grab nurse Belinda Chandra, and the whole season turns on a single goal: get her back to Earth. Every jump goes wrong. The TARDIS drops the pair into a haunted Miami cinema in 1952, onto a dead mining colony with one survivor, then into an interstellar song contest that curdles into a fight for survival. The closer they get to home, the clearer it becomes that something is holding the door shut. And when they finally land, the world waiting for them has been quietly rewritten.
