Synopsis
Bloody Birthday (1981) is Ed Hunt's cult slasher, free to watch online on iFILM. Three babies are born during a total solar eclipse, at the moment Saturn — the planet the film blames for human feeling — is blotted out. Ten years on, those three children have no conscience at all.
They're sweet-looking ten-year-olds in party hats, and they pick off adults and classmates one by one — never suspected, because who accuses a child? When a teenage boy and his older sister stumble onto what the kids really are, they become the next targets. No monsters here; the horror is that the killers look like any face in a school yearbook.
It's one of those odd early-eighties slashers that drifted into cult status. The grown-up cast includes Susan Strasberg and José Ferrer, with a very young Michael Dudikoff in a small role.
