About

Synopsis

Grumpier Old Men (1995) is a comedy sequel you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Howard Deutch. Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon return as feuding Minnesota neighbors Max and John, and this time they've got a new common enemy.

John is freshly married to Ariel, which leaves Max sulking next door. Then the local bait shop — the only thing these two agree they love — gets taken over by Maria Ragetti, an Italian divorcée with plans to turn it into a restaurant. Sophia Loren plays her with the kind of effortless confidence that sends both men into a tailspin. Their campaign of sabotage backfires. Repeatedly. Meanwhile, Burgess Meredith as the foul-mouthed grandfather steals every scene he's in.

The film runs on the chemistry between Matthau and Lemmon, two actors who had been trading barbs on screen since The Odd Couple in 1968. No big themes here — just two old men being ridiculous, a love story nobody asked for, and exactly the kind of comedy that goes down easy. Stream Grumpier Old Men (1995) online on iFILM.
