Tuca & Bertie (2019) is the adult animated comedy you can watch online on iFILM. It follows two bird best friends who share an apartment building: carefree toucan Tuca (Tiffany Haddish) and anxious song thrush Bertie (Ali Wong).

Tuca has just moved one floor up and is loving her newfound freedom, while Bertie cautiously builds a domestic life with her boyfriend Speckle (Steven Yeun). The show blends loopy surrealism — talking buildings, gossiping houseplants, body parts with their own agendas — with surprisingly raw takes on anxiety, burnout and old trauma. The candy colors hide grown-up material.

Created by Lisa Hanawalt, the production designer behind BoJack Horseman, it runs on the same gleefully weird hand-drawn logic. Netflix dropped it after one season, then Adult Swim picked it back up — a rare reversal for a cancelled show.
