Curve

Curve (2015) is a survival thriller with horror teeth, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Director Iain Softley strands his heroine on an empty mountain road where a good deed turns into a trap.

Mallory (Julianne Hough) is driving to her own wedding rehearsal, second-guessing the whole thing, when she takes a back-road detour and her car dies. A charming stranger named Christian (Teddy Sears) offers a ride. The charm is a mask. Realizing what he is, Mallory yanks the wheel and sends the truck off the road into a ravine, where it flips and pins her leg. From there it is one woman, an overturned cab, a trapped limb, and a man who will come back to finish what the crash started.

This is a tight 81-minute pressure cooker that leans on claustrophobia and sheer stubbornness rather than cheap jump scares. Hough carries almost the entire thing by herself.
