Synopsis

It's Christmas Eve in the late 1950s. A young RAF pilot, played by Ben Radcliffe, takes a fighter jet up to make it home for the holiday. Out over freezing water his radio dies, his instruments fail, the fuel runs low, and fog swallows everything below. Just as hope thins out, another aircraft slides into view — and the silent figure in its cockpit, played by John Travolta, seems to know exactly where home is.
Softley runs the whole thing on mood: engine drone, white haze, a lone voice in the headset. Shot in Britain with Mexican backing, it's built for a quiet winter night — a small tale about faith, rescue and finding your way back.
