In 1852, young Eli drives his Comanche band on raids deep into Mexico, then pulls them back from the edge of annihilation — until a moment arrives that forces a life-altering choice. In 1915 and 1916, an older Eli (Pierce Brosnan) is locked in open war with Standard Oil over the family's growing oil fields. Pete comes home and fractures the family from within. Maria Garcia returns and sets off a chain of events nobody anticipated. Jeannie digs up a secret that could shift everything.
