Synopsis
The King of the Kickboxers (1990) is a Hong Kong martial-arts action film you can watch online on iFILM. Ten years ago in a Thai ring, a fighter named Khan beat Jake's older brother to death. Jake now wears an NYPD badge — and Interpol wants him back in Bangkok for one reason.
The job: infiltrate a crew shooting fight movies where the stunt deaths are real, run by none other than Khan himself. Posing as a stunt actor, Jake edges closer to the man who killed his brother, knowing the next take could be his last. Loren Avedon leads, with Billy Blanks and Jerry Trimble trading hits on camera — full-contact, no doubles, no CGI.
Director Lo Yuen-Ming shoots it where Hong Kong and American kickboxing collide. This is genre filmmaking stripped to the bone: train, infiltrate, settle it one on one. Stream The King of the Kickboxers (1990) online on iFILM.
