Synopsis
The Americans Season 4 (2016) — 13 episodes to watch online on iFILM. Season 3 ended with Paige telling Pastor Tim her parents are Russian spies. Season 4 opens with that problem still unsolved and getting worse.
Philip and Elizabeth spend most of the season trying to contain the Pastor Tim situation without destroying their daughter to do it. A separate threat arrives through William, a KGB asset embedded inside the American biological weapons programme. When their handler Gabriel nearly dies from a pathogen exposure, the pair understands that the work has crossed into territory it cannot come back from. Meanwhile the Martha situation reaches the point where Philip must make a choice with no survivable option — the FBI is too close and something has to break. Paige, watching all of this, quietly starts to understand her parents in a way she didn't before, and finds she may have inherited more from them than she intended.
