Terror Train

Three years before the story begins, a fraternity prank on a fellow student named Kenny went horrifically wrong. Now those same students have chartered a train for a New Year's Eve costume party. Someone boards who wasn't invited. The killer switches costumes after each kill, which makes identifying them among a car full of masked revelers nearly impossible. The body count climbs quietly.

What separates this from most slashers of the era is the setting — a sealed, rattling train with nowhere to run and no one to call for help. Curtis anchors it with the screen presence she'd already earned by 1980, and real-life illusionist David Copperfield appears as himself, performing tricks that add a genuinely unsettling layer to the whole thing.
