Le Guignolo

Le Guignolo (1980) is a French–Italian action comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Jean-Paul Belmondo plays Alexandre Dupré, a smooth con artist who works the wealthy-widow circuit across Europe. Director Georges Lautner had already made several films with Belmondo, and the collaboration shows in every scene.

A Venice trip for a quiet swindle goes sideways on the plane: a stranger hands Dupré a briefcase for safekeeping, then gets shot dead. Whatever is inside makes Dupré a target for agents he never wanted to meet. Mirella D'Angelo and Michel Galabru co-star.
