Synopsis
DragonHeart: A New Beginning (2000) is a family fantasy adventure you can watch online on iFILM — a direct-to-video sequel to the original DragonHeart, directed by Doug Lefler.
Geoff is an orphaned stable boy at a monastery with exactly one ambition: to become a knight. He finds an unexpected ally in the basement — Drake, a young dragon who hatched from an egg the knight Bowen left there years earlier. Drake is the last living dragon in the world and has no idea how his own wings work. The two figure things out together, until outside threats arrive and turn their friendship into something more useful. Christopher Masterson plays Geoff with enough warmth to keep the story moving, and Drake is a lighter, more comic figure than the dragons that came before him.
