Wise Man's Grandchild (賢者の孫, 2019) is a Japanese fantasy anime series you can watch online on iFILM. An ordinary office worker dies and is reborn as a baby in a world built on magic. The legendary sage Merlin Wolford takes him in, names him Shin, and raises him in isolation. By fifteen, Shin has extraordinary magical ability. He can level a forest. He just has no idea how to talk to people his own age.

To fix that, Merlin ships him off to the Kingdom's Magic Academy. Shin navigates classes, peers, and the political pressures of a royal school — all while being completely oblivious to the gap between his power and his common sense. Adapted from a web novel by Tsuyoshi Sasaki, the series sits comfortably in the lighter end of the isekai genre — no grinding dark arcs, no overpowered brooding.
