Synopsis
Silent Zone (2025) is a Hungarian post-apocalyptic horror-thriller you can watch online on iFILM. A decade after a virus hollowed out the world, most of the infected hunt by sound alone — sightless, fast, and drawn to any noise. Ex-special-forces soldier Cassius and a teenage girl, Abigail, have learned to cross the ruins without making a sound.
Then they meet Megan, pregnant, and her husband David. Getting her to a walled colony before the baby comes means dragging a future scream across open country, and the infected can hear a cry from a long way off. Director Peter Deak leans on silence instead of jump scares: a snapped twig, a dropped tin, one held breath let go too soon. Lean supplies, thin trust, and 118 minutes of road with nowhere safe left on it. It plays closer to A Quiet Place than to a standard zombie crawl, and it earns the comparison.
