Synopsis
The Unhealer (2021) is a horror-thriller you can watch online on iFILM, built on a mean little hook: a quiet small-town teenager, bullied for years, walks away from a botched faith-healing session strangely impossible to hurt. Martin Guigui directs, with Natasha Henstridge, Lance Henriksen and Adam Beach in the cast.
The ritual goes wrong and leaves the boy carrying a shaman's power — every bit of pain done to him bounces straight back onto whoever caused it. For a while it plays like a dark fairy tale about payback. Then a stupid prank by his classmates kills someone he loves, and he stops holding the gift in check. What follows is a bloody campaign of revenge where victim and monster trade places. This is unapologetic B-movie genre fare with a clean premise and a surprisingly solid old-school cast: Henriksen and Henstridge sell scenes a weaker lineup would fumble.
