Synopsis
You Might Be the Killer (2019) is a horror-comedy you can watch online on iFILM — director Brett Simmons' sharp, self-aware slasher set at a summer camp where the counselor body count keeps climbing. Fran Kranz plays Sam, who rings his friend Chuck (Alison Hannigan) in a panic. Chuck runs a comic-book shop, has seen every slasher ever made, and asks the right questions until both of them reach the same horrible conclusion: Sam is the one doing the killing.
What follows is part whodunit, part genre autopsy. The film lays out its tropes with visible glee — the cursed artefact, the kill-order rules, the timeline reconstructed in cuts — but never loses the actual stakes underneath the jokes.
