Synopsis
Spiral: From the Book of Saw (2021) is a detective horror you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, it drops a fresh wave of Jigsaw-style killings on a city that thought the games were over.
Detective Zeke Banks (Chris Rock) is the cop nobody wants to partner with. He works alone, clashes with the precinct, and carries the weight of his father (Samuel L. Jackson), a decorated police legend. Then a copycat starts hunting officers, mailing them the rules of a vicious new game. The deeper Zeke digs, the more personal the trap becomes.
Bousman, who directed Saw II, III and IV, reboots the franchise as a gritty police thriller, with comedian Chris Rock cast against type in a hard dramatic lead. It runs a lean 93 minutes and wastes no time getting to the traps. Stream Spiral (2021) online on iFILM.
