【OSHI NO KO】 (2023) is a Japanese anime series you can watch online on iFILM. A rural OB-GYN who happens to be a devoted fan of teen idol Ai Hoshino ends up treating her in secret — she's pregnant and hiding it from everyone. He dies not long after. Then he wakes up again, reborn as her infant son, fully conscious and carrying every memory of his previous life.

Ai Hoshino, voiced by Yurie Igoma, sells a persona built entirely on the illusion of innocence. Her children are hidden from public view while agencies and social media keep the fantasy running. The series is unusually clear-eyed about how that machine works — who profits, who gets used, and what it costs the people inside it. The idol genre rarely turns this cold a lens on itself.

The source manga by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari ran in Weekly Young Jump from 2020 and had already built a massive readership before studio Doga Kobo adapted it; the opening episode runs close to ninety minutes, which is almost unheard of for a seasonal anime.
