Beyond the Blackboard

Beyond the Blackboard (2011), available to watch online on iFILM, is a family drama directed by Jeff Bleckner. In 1987 Albuquerque, New Mexico, a 24-year-old first-year teacher named Stacey Bess is assigned to a makeshift classroom inside a homeless shelter — a room the district called "The School with No Name," with no books and no furniture.
