Synopsis
Hoodwinked Too! Hood VS. Evil (2011) is an animated family comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Red Riding Hood is now training as a spy, and her first assignment drops her straight into trouble: Hansel and Gretel have vanished without a trace.
She cracks the case with the old crew — the Wolf working as a paparazzo reporter, a hyperactive squirrel, and a Granny who could out-fight any field agent. The trail leads to a witch hunting for a magic recipe, voiced with relish by Glenn Close. The cast also rounds up Hayden Panettiere, Patrick Warburton, Bill Hader and Amy Poehler, with Mike Disa directing. The sequel is louder and simpler than the first film, leaning on gag speed and spy-movie spoofs to keep moving. As a one-and-done watch with the kids, it does the job and aims no higher.
