Synopsis
Freddy Got Fingered (2001) is Tom Green's absurdist comedy, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Gord Brody is a 28-year-old wannabe animator convinced Hollywood is waiting for him, while in reality he's back in his parents' house driving his father up the wall.
Green directs, writes and stars, and the whole thing runs on his trademark shock humor: animals, cringe, and gags most people will want to look away from. Rip Torn, as the furious dad, plays it dead straight, and that contrast is half the joke. The movie bombed hard on release and swept a record haul of Razzie nominations, then slowly turned into a cult artifact for fans of anti-comedy chaos. This one isn't for everyone, to put it mildly.
