Vincent is a painter who has run himself into a wall: unfinished canvases, burnout, a darkness he can't shake. Then a cheerful young woman in black turns up, and it takes him a while to figure out who she is. She's Death from Neil Gaiman's Sandman, the one who greets everyone with kindness instead of dread. Over a single short conversation she walks him toward making peace with what he's done and what comes next. Jamie Chung gives her voice.
