Synopsis
The Death and Return of Superman (2019) is a DC animated feature you can watch online on iFILM. Directors Sam Liu and Jake Castorena merged two originally separate films into a single seamless cut that runs over two and a half hours.
Doomsday lands on Earth and the Justice League cannot stop it. The fight that follows is punishing by animation standards — sustained, brutal, and with a real cost. Jerry O'Connell voices Clark Kent, Rebecca Romijn is Lois Lane, Nathan Fillion plays Green Lantern, and Jason O'Mara returns as Batman. After Superman falls, his body vanishes from the tomb, and four different figures appear in Metropolis each carrying the S-shield and a competing claim. Lois starts picking them apart one by one.
