Synopsis
Tatort — Scene of the Crime Season 30, watch online on iFILM: 29 episodes, ARD, 1999. By their third year together, Ballauf and Schenk draw a run of cases that read like a map of late-nineties Germany at its most troubled.
A boy is found dead in a school bathroom, and Max goes undercover into a street war between German and Turkish teenage gangs — with a right-wing "protector" working the margins who is not what he claims. A dancer is murdered near a psychiatric hospital; the obvious suspect has a violent history, but the obvious answer doesn't hold. In a packed residential block, a colleague's girlfriend is killed and every neighbor stays quiet. Then the season's hardest case: a four-year-old found with injuries inflicted after death. Schenk is sure they're tracking someone who hunts the defenceless. Season 30 is the one that doesn't let up. Stream all episodes on iFILM.
