Synopsis

A broke, unknown Sylvester Stallone watches the fight and writes Rocky — crediting the story to his own imagination. Wepner does not handle the fame well. The booze, the gambling, the women — the film is largely about the gap between the legend he became and the life he actually led. Moss and Watts play the women who tried to stay.
