TV-MASeason 1
Terrible people. Perfect for each other.
Synopsis
You're the Worst (2014), Season 1 is up to watch online on iFILM — ten episodes of comedy-drama about two people dead certain that love is a scam. Jimmy is a self-absorbed British novelist. Gretchen is a cynical PR rep who pleases everyone and likes almost no one.
They meet behaving badly at his ex's wedding, which is exactly why they click. The season opens on a deal: just sex, no feelings, no strings. Then every episode quietly chips at that lie. Gretchen accidentally asks for a key to his place. Jimmy tries taking her on an actual date, the way normal people do. One of them cracks open emotionally and terrifies the other. There's the parents, a petty one-upmanship contest, and a flashback episode that rewinds nearly three years to how these two even crossed paths.
Created by Stephen Falk for FX, the show grabs the romcom formula and twists its arm — the leads sabotage themselves and fall for each other anyway. It's for anyone sick of sugary love stories. All episodes are streaming on iFILM.
