Synopsis
The Devil Judge (악마판사, 2021) is a South Korean drama series you can watch online on iFILM. Chief Judge Kang Yo-han has turned the courtroom into a live broadcast — verdicts delivered in real time, audience voting included. The crowds love him. The legal establishment is terrified. Ji Sung plays Kang Yo-han as a man who has stripped away any pretense of believing in justice and replaced it with something that looks a lot more like power.
His young assistant Judge Kim Ga-on, played by Jin Young, starts out admiring the theatrics. Then he starts asking questions. Kim Min-jung and Park Gyu-young round out a cast where almost no one is straightforwardly on the right side of anything. The corruption runs deep, and the show makes no attempt to soften that.
