TV-MASeason 3
Synopsis
Inside No. 9 (2017), Season 3 gathers five tales behind the familiar number 9 door, and it streams online on iFILM. This time the run is five episodes rather than six.
It may be the show's most formally daring season. A post-dinner argument over who settles the restaurant bill spirals from petty stinginess into something far nastier. The Riddle of the Sphinx pits a crossword compiler against a student in a lethal game of wordplay, and it's regularly named among the series' very best. Elsewhere a stranger's shoe found in the street slowly unhinges an ordinary man, a karaoke night becomes confession by way of other people's songs, and a gallery opening saves its grimmest twist for last.
Shearsmith and Pemberton keep bending the genre — whodunit one week, tragicomedy the next, near-horror after that. Watch all episodes of Inside No. 9 Season 3 online on iFILM.
