The run opens with a man falling from the roof of Selwyn's offices on the day he returns home. From there: a couples therapist drowned off her exclusive retreat, a reclusive pensioner shot in his own house, a poisoning staged mid-performance during The Tempest. Threaded through all eight cases is Mervin's own story — the hunt for his wayward brother, which drags him to Antigua and leaves the rest of the team racing to find their detective before it's too late. The closer, a death at sea with strange injuries, stirs up old rumours of a sea monster called the Lusca.
This French-British format keeps its trademark shape: bright Caribbean setting, a locked-room puzzle, the whole suspect list gathered for the reveal.
