Salem's Lot (Season 1)

Salem's Lot (2004) is a two-part supernatural miniseries you can watch online on iFILM. Director Mikael Salomon adapted Stephen King's 1975 novel for television, following writer Ben Mears — played by Rob Lowe — who returns to the town of Jerusalem's Lot where he spent part of his childhood. He came back to write a book. Something in the old Marsten House had other plans.

Townspeople start vanishing after dark, then reappearing changed. Rutger Hauer, Donald Sutherland, James Cromwell, and Samantha Mathis fill out a cast that gives the horror its small-town weight — everybody knows everybody, which makes each loss count. The production trusts the novel's slow-burn rhythm rather than rushing toward the scares, and it's stronger for it. Watch Salem's Lot online on iFILM.
