Synopsis
Inside I'm Dancing (2004) is an Irish-British-French drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Damien O'Donnell. Michael, 24, has cerebral palsy and has spent most of his life in a Dublin care home — until Rory O'Shea moves in. Rory has Duchenne muscular dystrophy and almost no physical movement, but more attitude than anyone else in the building. James McAvoy plays Rory; Steven Robertson is Michael.
Rory's plan: get their own flat, live on their terms. The system isn't designed for that. Neither is Michael — at first. When a personal assistant named Siobhán (Romola Garai) enters the picture, the dynamic shifts into something none of them expected.
The film earns its emotional weight by refusing to frame disability as something to overcome. The point is autonomy — messy, costly, worth it. Sharper than the inspirational-drama genre usually allows. Stream Inside I'm Dancing (2004) online on iFILM.
